Caroline Cohen
Chartered & Educational Psychologist

"Caroline provided a deeper
understanding of our child's strengths and weaknesses... supporting them to unleash their greatest potential"

I work with children and adults to build on their strengths, and help identify potential barriers to learning, in order to allow them to demonstrate more of their innate potential.

My goal is to support development, and enable full engagement, with current and future learning and work opportunities.

I achieve this through observation, assessment, consultation and review using a variety of psychological assessment tools.

My approach supports the emotional, social and academic development of children and adults.

I have a particular interest in the identification and support of specific learning difficulties including dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia.

"Caroline is always a genuine pleasure to work with. She is extremely professional, experienced, insightful and efficient. Her genuine care for children and their families shines out and this immediately inspires confidence in parents and children alike. I would whole-heartedly recommend Caroline's services to anyone looking for the input and support of an educational psychologist"
Dr Susanna Pinkus, Education Expert

"I have had the pleasure of working with Caroline with all 4 of my children. They all have different types of dyslexia and individual personalities. Caroline dealt with all of them with great sensitivity bringing out the best in all them. She has also helped my eldest son (24) as an adult with his professional accountancy exams allowing him to navigate the system to achieve the help he needed. Her reports are comprehensive and clearly written, always within the time frame she has promised us. She goes the extra mile and gave great advice and support when dealing with challenging situations at schools and colleges. I could not recommend Caroline more highly"

"Caroline was recommended to us and lived up to the faith placed in her. She is consistently approachable, extremely professional and always happy to help and explain. She has assessed both our son and daughter, who both have different needs. She explained the process beforehand and her assessment and report was very thorough and focused on my children’s individual needs and requirements. I have recommended her to friends and acquaintances. If you aren’t sure about taking the step of an independent educational psychologist report, please put your minds at ease. In our experience, Caroline was delightful, her reports extremely useful and was very good value for money. I highly recommend Caroline"

"It is a difficult thing, for both children and their parents, to accept and address a child’s behavioural and educational challenges. However Caroline was incredibly supportive and approached the entire process with empathy, positivity and great efficiency. The process was seamless and her expertise and experience clearly evident. We particularly liked that her focus was not on ‘labelling’ or providing detailed but meaningless reports, but rather, on providing a deeper understanding of our child’s strengths and weakness so that we clearly understand the best ways in which we can support them to unleash their greatest potential. We cannot thank her enough for her insight"
